Acer Swift 5
I was honoured to be a took part in this amazing project of making a super minimalistic, focussing on color and abstract video campaign of the latest Swift 3 & 5 laptops by Acer. The concept was to create high-end aesthetic installation which highlights the ACER laptop. This was the first assignment I received working in MediaMonks and I got the opportunity to work with the film department team of wonderful creatives and was introduced the creative “INSANE”

Task:
The background of the set was colored by light, this creates faded color gradients. Does my task was to help design the concept of gradients on the screen of the Acer laptop during the campaign. The goal was creating minimalistic windows with color gradients pop up and gradients colors that would be based on the colors of the footage, with a reference to sunset colors
Concept
The concept of the screen gradient is based of a sundial, a device that tells the time of day when there is sunlight by the apparent position of the Sun in the sky. In the narrowest sense of the word, it consists of a flat plate and a gnomon, which casts a shadow onto the dial. Going forward with this direction we came to fine tune this idea which in return created a huge impact in the rest of the video campaign and match with the sunset colors.
